The mailboxes at the start of the dead-end the street where my grandparents once lived. As I remember, my aunt determined the mailboxes needed some color and painted their’s (pink). Obviously other families agreed, resulting in this shot taken by my grandfather after a major snow.
Online doesn’t do the picture justice: I framed a print of my own which is often shown in my living room. Gorgeous shot.
Apparently the current residents are less bothered by this than my aunt was….
