Really? Perhaps I'm naive or uninformed, but fairly sure overtime would have been played regardless of Progressive Insurance's sponsorship. Even if no other sponsors stepped, it's fairly unlikely - though not impossible - that CBS would stop broadcasting a Power Five championship game.
If nothing else, it seems that Kars4Kids ads are fill-in when nothing else is available.
