According to this nytimes.com article, (paywall, a different free version here) a bill may be introduced in California’s state assembly to give reparations to families of people where displaced when Dodger Stadium was build. Reparations may be financial or land.
The article mentions a non-profit Buried Under the Blue dedicated to the cause of these primarily Mexican-American families forcibly evicted.
Just another example of an under-represented community being trivialized for monetary reasons, but good to see there might be something changing: think of the potential value of land!
