St. Paul has a wealth of food choices, many tasty and outright great, making it difficult to maintain some semblance of control on how much you consume.
For someone with a notorious sweet tooth, it’s even more damning due to the number of outstanding bakeries and patisseries within just a few miles:
- Bread and Chocolate: I can’t resist the apple croissant.
- Cafe Latte: Wine bar and pizza, followed up by a slice of scrumptious pie or cake.
- Great Harvest Bread Company: Wonderful bread with goodies mixed in.
- Marc Heu Patisserie Paris: A James Beard semi-finalist should say it all.
- Nothing Bundt Cakes: Boxes of bundtinis for special events and the occasional indulgence.
- Rose Street Patisserie: Just stopped in for the first time – cookies, croissants and something chocolate and decadence – and so far it’s delicioso.
- Wuollet’s Bakery: Lots to chose from but the Princess Cake is a holiday favorite.
So if you’re trying to maintain a healthy life style by eating right, don’t come to St. Paul!
