Currently in Slovenia attending a conference and I need an electronics store. Brave offered to translate to English, great, since my Slovene is non-existent. However, I did not expect this.
Assuming homophobia is not for sale, this shows that computers remain fallible and seemingly incapable of understanding context: perhaps the web site terminology is slang for homophobia, but I doubt this is the vendor’s intent. Yet here it is.
Despite the technological advancements, especially with regards to artificial intelligence, these types of issues proove that the technology has still not advanced to where we can just trust it to get things right. Believe this shows it!
