Though I don’t know why the author referred to South Africa – which definitely is not in Europe – the problem actually is with the site. If I refresh the page, it shows more information; however, after a minute or two the rest of the article is hidden, leaving the Cape Town reference front-and-center. I believe this is a response to ad-blocking in Brave as Safari shows the whole article. Or so I assume, as EuroNews is not providing me any feedback, just showing a stump article that makes the author appear to be an idiot.
To be honest, the complete article is pretty underwhelming, only describing in broad strokes the how rankings were made and only mentioning a few airports. More useful would have been a comprehensive list that I could scroll through or filter; even the source of the study is unamed.
Truthfully, click-bait at best, but entertaining when the article’s presentation makes it seem like the author is including Cape Town as part of Europe!
