Yes another example of AI misbehaving: PocketOS’s company database deleted by AI despite instructions to require confirmation before executing any destructive actions. PocketOS joins SasStr where AI agents destructively deleted data/files despite explicit instructions otherwise. The agents’ response: I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have taken that action. Uggh, too late!
These are not isolated incidents, just the most newsworthy, and no doubt more to come.
The irony: PocketOS uses the top-level domain .ai. Might want to rethink that…
